Ysra follows semantic versioning, and Git tags use the matching `vX.Y.Z` form.
The API also reports the exact build commit, so two deployments of the same
version remain distinguishable.

## 1.4.0 { #v1-4-0 }

Knowledge research becomes more durable and transparent, automations gain
reviewable web and Gmail capabilities, and stale Developer completion prompts no
longer leave sessions stuck.

**Knowledge**

- Questions are saved before any model work begins, so a cancelled or failed
  answer never loses the prompt. Sessions expose queued and answering states.
- Research progress is visible while it runs — ordered steps for search, fetch,
  PDF and report work — without storing search terms, credentials or retrieved
  content in the timeline.
- Direct PDF links are extracted as documents rather than fetched as HTML.
- PDF reports receive an advisory visual review. Findings are shown with the
  report and never block delivery.

**Workers**

- Automations can search the public web and a connected Gmail mailbox, behind
  explicit grants. Gmail access creates **drafts only**; nothing is sent.
- Automations can be paused, resumed and archived; edits create immutable
  versions; queued and running runs can be cancelled.

**Developer**

- Repeated completion checks no longer strand a session on a non-actionable
  **Continue**. Stalled sessions are released as preserved, explicitly
  unverified candidates on the next follow-up.

- Developer sessions can use approved third-party APIs through a controlled
  connection. Credentials stay with the platform — they never reach the model,
  the repository or the workspace.
- Every outside call respects the session's `network` permission.
- `start preview` in a conversation replays the exact retained candidate instead
  of starting new paid work.
